There’s some rumbling on Sicily, and it’s not just Mount Etna. A new wave of kind of tourism is washing over the Mediterranean island: getting married in Sicily! Destination wedding in Sicily by TDT’s team and your dream comes true…
A spot on the Mediterranean where local charm meets natural beauty, making for the perfect place to get married or elope: Sicily is the largest of the Italian islands, separated from the Continent by the Strait of Messina and surrounded by the Ionian, the Tyrrhenian and the Mediterranean Seas.

It is one of the pearls of Southern Italy and can be discovered, understood and experienced through a series of itineraries dedicated to areas of interest ranging from nature to history and traditions.
Sicily truly could not be more romantic with backdrops of the rolling countryside, Ionian Sea and charming town complete with cobblestone paths and local well-wishers

Food: With Arab, Spanish and French influences, Sicilian cuisine is in a class of its own.
Tons of palate-dazzling delights you must savor when you visit the fascinating Italian island. You cannot leave before tasting the Granita comprised of thin ice flakes churned with fresh fruit, nuts or coffee that is then sweetened with sugar typical of the provinces of Catania and Syracuse. Locals love to start their day with a granita coupled with a doughy brioche for breakfast. Other Food specialties: Panelle (chickpea fritters) the King of Palermo, Caponata (eggplant salad), Sfincione not your ordinary pizza, Macco, maccu or maccu di fave creamy soup, Couscous alla trapanese, Cassata the most elegant Sicilian dessert, Cheese mostly made from cow and sheep milk, from fresh tuma to aged caciocavallo.
Monasteri Golf Resort

Accommodation: several of villa, resorts, castles or country house lend themselves to wedding day festivities, offering space, a beautiful setting, a touch of luxury and a highly professional level of service.

Travelling:
If you come from Europe, it will be easier for you to fly to Sicily by arriving either at Catania Airport (CTA) or Palermo Airport (PMO) or Trapani Airport (TPS) or Comiso (CIY). Which airport to use depends both on the convenience of the flight and of the destination airport, because Palermo an Trapani are in eastern Sicily and Catania and Comiso are in the western part of the island.

Weather: the constant warmth of Sicily and its low, yet not absent rainfall creates the perfect conditions for the growing of citrus fruits. The hillsides are cloaked in green for much of the year and lemon and orange groves stripe the lowlands. Summer, from June through September, is hot and dry with plenty of sunshine. The average high temperature is already at 23°C in June and then rises to 26°C in July and August before dropping to 24°C in September.
