Welcome to our home! Since 60 yrs Villa il Merlo is Monica Balli’s Family home. A 1700’s villa, fully frescoed by important artists is from March 2018 available for a selected number of professionals for rent for events and stay.
Property, over 100 acres is nestled in Tuscany between Firenze and the sea side of Versilia, each way 30 minutes drive with very easy access.
The property is perfect for private intimate events, as well as bigger events, due to the outdoors capacity within olive grove and gardens of 500 guests, and the indoor spaces which may hold up to 180 guests in multiple communicating rooms. Music after midnight may be done indoors.
The villa offers also more intimate solutions, as the tavern and cellars with antique original fireplace with arigibal moving bbq, as well as original Pizza oven.
The access is underlined by a secular cypress alley and secular romantic gardens.
The olive grove being quite flat may host dinners, live stations and activities. The paved corners each holding from 80 to 120 guests, the tennis court may be used to play or covered for production. Lots to play with, just let your imagination loose. The property is totally fenced.
For MICE they also have on site vineyards, woods with roads and lakes.
The villa also offers accommodation on site for 20 guests in 10 double bedrooms divided in 4 apartments on the upper floors, very spacious for extra beds. The min stay is 3 nights with half-staff. Extra staff may be arranged upon request. Extra accommodation is in the town of Montecatini, a nice thermal touristic area just 10 min away from the villa.
